Staying Safe Together
Coronavirus and Physical Therapy: Our Commitment to Patient Safety During the COVID-19 Pandemic
Physical Therapy is an Essential Service
As a medical treatment, physical therapy is deemed an essential service. Our clinic is now adequately staffed and prepared to remain open and treat patients in person. Please contact our office to confirm hours of operation and schedule an appointment.
We will continue offering online teleconsultations for anyone who would like to start or continue their plan of care from the comfort of their own home.
Is it Safe to Go to Physical Therapy Right Now?
We are following all Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidance to protect our physical therapists, other staff, and patients at our clinics. In particular, we are focused on maintaining a clean and safe environment as we all work together against the spread of COVID-19.
To deliver a healthy treatment experience for our patients and clinicians alike, we are placing increased emphasis on:
-
Following the latest Centers for Disease Control guidelines, including frequent and thorough hand washing throughout the day.
-
Observing CDC guidance by requiring clinicians and patients to wear masks or some other kind of face covering.
-
Sterilizing all clinic surfaces with medical-grade disinfectants.
-
Screening all patients, clinicians and team members for potential Coronavirus (COVID-19) exposure.
-
Adhering to recommended social-distance practices when not delivering hands-on care.
-
Limiting the number of people in-clinic.
-
Scheduling seniors and other at-risk patients into lower-traffic hours when possible.
About Your Appointment
In order to keep everyone healthy, we are asking all of our clients to adhere to the following policies:
-
If possible, please come by yourself. We are trying to minimize the number of people inside the clinic so if you are able, please do not bring any friends or family to your appointment with you. Minor's may bring one guardian with them to their appointment.
-
Please minimize the number of belongings you bring into the clinic.
-
Do not come early to your appointment. We will be staggering appointments and cleaning in between each appointment, coming early increases the chance that you will be in contact with additional people.
-
Wear a mask. All clinicians and clients will be required to wear a mask during their appointment.
Our Commitment to You
Ultimately, we want to get you back to being you. Whatever your treatment goals may be, we believe the single-biggest factor in a successful recovery from injury is completing the recommended course of care.
Additional measures may be necessary to protect your health in our clinics. If so, we will update our practices and policies immediately. With this shared commitment, we are confident we can continue delivering the same high level of care you've come to expect from us.
